7.4.5 Leakage Compensation

Leakage compensation to adjust for added current leakage possibly caused by
Handler Cables, Handler Test Heads or even the addition of Low and/or High Current
decks.

Re-adjustment is not necessary unless the configuration has changed.

Leakage compensation is adjusted at the factory with load attached under the
following conditions:

R36 on the Relay Board is located in the upper right hand corner of the board. It is
not necessary to extend the board. It is only necessary to remove the top cover.

NOTE:

Leakage compensation is only functional above 1µA when Lo Current Deck is
attached. Measurements below 1µA are made in the Lo Current Deck. Leakage
compensation is usually not required with the Lo Current Deck. See section 10 for Lo
Current Deck leakage adjustment (LCD “G-K” PCB revision D or later only).

7.5 System Verification

The 5000 Series Tester may be manually verified by using the following procedures.
The test programs required are included on the System CD shipped with the system.
The 5000 Series Tester must be in calibration (See Section 7.2.2, Auto-Calibration or
Section 7.4, Manual Calibration) before running these verification tests.
