WARNING: The conversion may delete or modify certain test steps:

Calculation steps may be deleted if:
o
A reference to a non-existing or subsequent test step is made.
o
The expression is invalid because of syntax.

Calculation steps may be different if:
o
Old expression uses “LOG”, change to new expression “LOG10”.
o
Old expression uses “LN”, change to new expression “LOG”.
If the file selected does not exist, a prompt to create a new test program is presented
and if selected creates a new STI Test Program.
If the file entered does not include an extension, the “.T60” extension is used.
If the file entered has
any extension other than “.T60” or “.T53” an “Invalid Test
Program” error message is displayed.
Once opened, the test program window may be resized and the headers may be
resized to present portions of the test program not normally visible without scrolling.
6.3.2.5 Test Program Operator Information File
Provides for creating and/or editing of STI Operator Information Files (“.OIF”).
6.3.3 System
6.3.3.1 Communications
Set the PC serial port (USB Port when using the USB / Serial Adaptor) and baud
rate. (Note: the default baud rate of 38.4K baud should be maintained, change in this
item will require a equivalent change in the STI 5000 Series Tester baud rate).
6.3.3.2 Default Paths
Set the starting search path for STI Test Programs, data files and lot summary files.
6.3.3.3 Password
Use the password to protect the Test Program Generator and Mainframe
Configuration from being accessed by unauthorized individuals. By default no
password is specified, once a password has been entered it must be used to gain
access the Test Program Generator and Mainframe Configuration and to change the
password.
6.3.3.4 STI Configuration
Allows for the saving and recalling of multiple system configurations. The file
“PCW.CFG” is the file, if found that is loaded when the STI PCW Program is
launched. If the default file is not found, the internal defaults are used. Alternative
configurations must be loaded manually.
6.3.3.5 Load Firmware
Provides for installing updated firmware into the STI 5000 Series Tester. This is used
only for STI 5000 Series Testers with the A486 CPU. Insert the disk with the STI
5000 Series firmware into the floppy drive and then follow the instructions provided
on screen to complete the download.

Confirm the STI 5000 Series Tester is powered on and connected to the PC
via the serial cable.
