6.3.1.6 Exact Value
The Exact Value window provides the means to control the STI 5000 Series Tester
from the PC and to capture datalog and lot summary data.
There are speed buttons located along the bottom of the window providing one
mouse click for:


– Use this to select the test number and Measure or Pass/Fail
(Note: when either the Measure (M) or Pass/Fail (PF) check box is selected
then pressing the start button will measure or provide pass/fail data on the
selected test. If neither check box is selected, then the test sequence, either
Go/NoGo or Datalog, will be started with the pressing of the start button.)


Excel Spreadsheet Enable Toggle
The Exact Value window consists of two panels, the left panel is for datalog data and
the right panel is for lot summary data. Each panel has a popup menu accessed by
placing the mouse on the desired panel and then using the right mouse button. The
basic settings of both panels, including size, are saved when the window is closed
and restored when the window is opened.
The width of the panels may be changed by placing the mouse on the panel divider,
holding the left mouse button and moving the divider to the desired location.
If Lot Summary is enabled current data is retrieved from the STI 5000 Series Tester
for display and then updated after each test sequence. This can reduce the
throughput of the STI 5000 Series Tester. It is recommended that the Lot Summary
be enabled only to update the panel and then disabled when operating the STI 5000
Series Tester from a handler.
If Multiplex operation, there can be an Exact Value Window for each station.
When the Exact Value Window is closed, various selectable options are saved (Lot
Summary Enable, Datalog Mode and count or sort number and window size). These
saved options are then reloaded the next time the Exact Value Window is opened,

Creates the STI statistics file, ASCII delimitated (spreadsheet) file and columnar data
file from the selected STI datalog file. The files created are:
