Terminating
entries
7. a)
Press the
function key
to
terminate the entry.
The R&S UP300/350 sets the value that has been set numerically using
the
new
unit
. The entry window is closed.
b)
Press the
key
The R&S UP300/350 sets the value that has been set numerically, but
with the
old
unit
. The entry window is closed.
Note:
If a parameter is unitless or always has the same unit, you can
terminate the entry with the
ENTER key
.
c)
Press the
key
The
old value
is
retained. The entry window is closed.
Invalid
parameter entry
If the entered value is outside the permissible range, the largest or smallest
permissible value is coerced and the message
“Value is out of range"
appears in the status line.
Using another unit
of measure to
display a value
1.
Press the
function key
in the
menu.
An entry field containing the current setting is displayed. At the same
time, the function keys are assigned various units of measurement.
2.
Press the
function key
to display the value in
Hz
.
Ö
The value is displayed using the
new unit
. The input window is
not
closed.
Note:
In the parameter list, values from 1 to 999 are displayed in front of the
decimal point. In other words, if the digit sequence <5000> and the unit <Hz>
are entered, <5.000 kHz> appears in the display.
