3.1.2 LED Indications and their Meanings

The following LED patterns indicate the following states of the device:

In any case, a flashing LED (

) for ERROR indicates an error.

Indication

State of the Device

Power-up

The device is powering up (including internal tests). There is no energy flow on the

load side.

NOTE: This is an intermediate state. After successfully powering up, the standby

state is automatically assumed.

Standby

The device is running. There is no energy flow on the load side.

Ready

The device is running and the intermediate circuit is charged. There is no energy

flow on the load side.

Switched on

The device is running and power is supplied to drawn from the load. There is

energy flow on the load side.

Update

A firmware update is being performed. There is no energy flow on the load side.

NOTE: This state can only be entered from the state standby and it can only be

exited by restarting the device.

In case of an error the device automatically switches to standby state.
