7.8.2

Run calibration test

Requirements:



The metering slider is closed.



PTO and tractor engine are switched off and locked to prevent accidental
starting.



An adequately sized container is ready for collecting the discharged material.
The container's empty weight is known.



Using the fertiliser chart, the pre-set values for the metering slider end stop
are determined and known.

WARNING

Risk of injury due to chemicals

Discharged fertiliser may cause injuries to eyes and nasal mucous
membrane.



Wear safety goggles during the calibration test.



Direct all persons out of the danger zone of the spreader
before running the calibration test.

NOTICE

Select the calibration test time to obtain the maximum possible spreading quan-
tity. The greater the amount, the higher the accuracy of the measurement (e.g.
nominal spreading quantity: 10 kg/min, calibration test time: 3 min., calibrated
volume of spreading material: 30 kg).
