1 Intended use and EU conformity
1.1 Intended use
The single-disc spreader AXEO may only be used in accordance with the infor-
mation given in this operating manual.
The single-disc spreader AXEO is constructed exclusively for the following appli-
cations (intended use):

in winter service for spreading material that can be delivered by chute, such
as grit (3/5), sand and salt,

in agriculture for spreading dry, granular and crystalline fertilisers
Any use outside these definitions is considered as misuse. The manufacturer is
not liable for any damage resulting from misuse. The operator bears the entire
risk.
Intended use also includes observing the operating, maintenance, and service
conditions specified by the manufacturer. Only genuine spare parts from the
manufacturer may be used as replacements.
The single-disc spreader AXEO may only be used, serviced, and repaired by per-
sons who are acquainted with the characteristics of the machine, have been
trained in its use, and who have been advised of the dangers involved.
Important information on the operation and safe handling of the machine is pro-
vided in this operating manual. Warning notes and warning signs are also affixed
to the machine by the manufacturer. All such information must be followed implic-
itly when using the machine.
Moreover, the relevant accident prevention regulations and the other generally
recognised safety, occupational health, and road traffic regulations must be strict-
ly observed when using the machine.
Unauthorised modifications to the single-disc spreader are not permitted. They
will exempt the manufacturer from liability for any damage resulting there from.
Foreseeable misuse
The manufacturer provides warning information and signs on the AXEO single-
disc spreader in the form of notices affixed to the machine relating to foreseeable
misuse. These warning signs and information must be observed under all circum-
stances in order to avoid the AXEO single-disc spreader being used for any other
purpose than that specified in the relevant operating manual.
