3.8.2 Road travel with the single-disc spreader
Handling, steering, and braking performance of the tractor are affected by the at-
tached spreader. For example, the high permissible load capacity will reduce the
weight on the tractor's front axle, and may affect its steering.

Be aware of the changed driving behaviour.

Make sure that you have sufficient vision when driving. If vision is restricted
(e.g. when reversing), another person is required to direct the driver.

Do not exceed the legal speed limit.

Avoid sudden turns when driving uphill or downhill or across a slope. Due to
the changed centre of gravity, there is a danger of overturning. Travel over
uneven, soft ground (e.g. entering a field, over road edges) with great care.

Arrest sideways movement of the lower link of the three-point linkage to pre-
vent the machine from swinging.

Passengers are prohibited on the spreader during transport and operation.
