Select the PTO and spreading disc speeds so that the spreading width is ob-
tained without leaving deposits on the spreading disc. Lower PTO and spreading
disc speeds reduce the wear of agitator and spreading disc.
Particularly hard spreader material types, e.g. grit, increase the wear on the
spreading vanes.
Select the same PTO and spreading disc speeds that were used for the calibra-
tion test.
Always use the supplied safety guard to prevent clogging due to foreign objects
or spreading material clumping.
Claims for damage other than to the single-disc spreader itself will not be accept-
ed.
This also means that no liability will be accepted for damage resulting from
spreading errors.
8.2 General instructions for the agitator
Depending on the type of spreading material, four different agitator versions are
available for theAXEO single-disc spreader.

CAUTION
Possible material and environmental damage
The rotating agitator can lead to increased wear or hardening of
the spreading material if the metering slider is closed. This hard-
ening can hamper the delivery of the spreading material or can
stop it completely.
 Always switch the agitator off when the metering slider is
closed.
