2.1 About this operating manual
This operating manual is a constituent part of the single-disc spreaderAXEO.
The manual contains important instructions for safe , correct and economical use
and maintenance of the single-disc spreader. Adherence to the manual helps to
avoid dangers , reduce repair costs and downtime, and to increase the ma-
chine's reliability and service life.
The complete documentation, comprising this operating manual and any other
documents provided, must be kept in an easily accessible location close to where
the single-disc spreader is used (e.g. on the tractor).
If the single-disc spreader is sold, the operating manual must also be passed to
the new owner.
The AXEO manual is intended for the operator of the single-disc spreader and
anyone involved in operating and maintaining it. It must be read, understood, and
applied by all persons entrusted with the following work on the machine:

Operation,

Maintenance and cleaning,

Repairing faults.
The following are particularly important:

The chapter on safety,

The warning instructions in the text of the individual chapters.
The manual does not replace your own responsibility as the operator and op-
erating personnel of the AXEO single-disc spreader.
