Safety

WARNING

Environmental pollution due to unsuitable disposal of hy-
draulic and gear oil

Hydraulic oil and gear oil are not fully biodegradable. Therefore,
oil must be prevented from entering the environment in an uncon-
trolled manner.



Spilled oil may only be collected by authorised maintenance
personnel.



Use sand, soil, or absorbent material to soak up or dam
spilled oil.



Collect hydraulic and gear oil in a suitable container pro-
vided for the purpose, and dispose of it in accordance with
the local statutory requirements.



Spilled oil must be prevented from draining into sewers by
erecting barriers of sand or soil, or by other suitable means.

ing material

Packaging material contains chemical compounds, which must be
dealt with appropriately.



The correct disposal of packaging material must be han-
dled by an appropriately authorised disposal company
under observance of national regulations.


