Large numbers of samples
Principally, the R&S
FSVA/FSV can handle up to 1.6 million samples. However, when
480 001 samples are exceeded, all traces that are not currently being displayed on a
screen are deactivated to improve performance. The traces can only be activated
again when the samples are reduced.

Variable-Sized Capture Buffer
The capture buffer size is now variable. By default, the size of the capture buffer is
identical to the defined measurement time. However, if you select a larger capture time
manually, you can then scroll through the data in the capture buffer by changing the
