Due to its proximity to the exhaust system, the rear underbody is com-

pletely covered with heat protection insulation. Damage to the heat

protection must be repaired immediately. Failure to observe may lead

to thermal overloading of the fiber composite material and cause a fire.

Within each vehicle preparation the rear bracket must be checked for

firm seating and damage (e.g. cracks).
