5.8 Underbody

The underbody of the 911 GT3 Cup MR Gen.II is completely closed for aerodynamic reasons. The

aerodynamic efficiency is further increased by the flow

optimized front splitter and the rear diffuser.

The strakes on the front splitter and the four fins on the underbody at

the rear must be replaced if they are damaged or badly worn. The

components can be replaced individually.

The marked areas represent skid pads. The skid plates can be replaced

individually and are arranged so that they wear out before the actual

CFRP components are damaged.

NOTE

The corresponding tightening torques can be found in the detailed

assembly instructions. This is available for download from the Manthey

Racing website.

When carrying out any work on the underbody, the vehicle must be

secured against falling using suitable means.

WARNING

All underbody components must be checked for tightness before

each use. Loose components pose a high safety risk for you and

others!
