The table opposite shows guidance values based on driving tests with 

Michelin tires. A setting recommendation is not given in these instruc-

tions, since an optimal ABS setting depends not only on many vehicle 

and track

specific factors, but also not least on the driving skills of the 

driver.

 

In  order  to  familiarize  yourself  with  the  control  interventions  of  the 

ABS  while  driving,  Manthey

-

Racing  strongly  recommends  that  you 

start  with  an  ABS  level  with  stronger  controls.  Once  the  driver  has 

become familiar with the system, ABS levels with less control inter-

vention can be selected.
