Using the Channel Banner

Passport DCT Customer Service Guide

The following figure shows the channel banner.

The channel banner displays automatically for a few seconds when you change channels. You can
also display it yourself whenever you desire.

When the channel banner displays, you can use it to browse program information for other channels.
When you browse the channel banner, the current channel does not change. This way you can check
program information for other channels while watching the channel you are viewing currently.

This section describes how you display, browse, and exit the channel banner.
