Using the Program Guide
Suspending Future PPV Programs
Suspending a future PPV program timer permits you to put a purchase on hold and yet keep it on
the list in the event that you change your mind and wish to resume it later. The timer remains on
the timer list until the time has passed or until it is canceled. If you wish to resume the timer, see the
procedure Resuming or Modifying Future PPV Programs on page 53.
Note: You cannot suspend a current PPV program.
To suspend a future PPV program using the program guide
Note: At any time during this procedure, you can elect to cancel this procedure by pressing the EXIT button. In
that event, there are no changes to the timer.
1 Press the GUIDE button. The program guide displays.
2 Press the arrow buttons to highlight the future PPV program to be suspended. The program
displays in the program guide, highlight in yellow with a timer symbol.
3 Press the SELECT button. One of the following happens:
• Passport DCT displays the channel. This means that this program is currently airing.
• One of the following displays appear (if you have selected a PPV program). The example
shows a display for a program that was purchased without a VCR timer (on left) and a
display for a program that has a VCR timer set (on right).
Note: If you have selected a non-PPV program, refer to Modifying or Clearing Non-PPV Timers on page
44.
4 Highlight the Suspend <type> option (where type is either an Purchase or Purchase and VCR
timer), and press the A button to accept the change.
