Use the FOMA phone’s dedicated Battery Pack P17.
■ Attaching
Attaching/Removing Batteries

While pressing the “ ”
part in the direction A,
slide the back cover
(2 mm or more) in the
direction B to unlock.

As illustrated, securely
match the battery pack to
the dent on the FOMA phone
with the arrow-marked
surface upward, and
depress the battery pack in
the direction B while
pushing it in the direction A.

Slide the back cover in
the direction of the arrow
and attach it in place.

Make sure that there is no gap
between the back cover and the
FOMA phone, and then slide the
back cover and close it completely.
If it is not completely closed, you
may hurt your hand or fingers
because it is made of metal.

pack to lift it up.

Make sure that you attach/remove the battery with the FOMA phone closed and
held in your hand after you turn off the power. Also, make sure not to press the
one-push open button when you attach/remove the battery.

If you try to force the battery into place, you could damage the UIM.

If you try to force the battery into place, you could damage the charging terminals
of the FOMA phone.
