Producing PSL solutions
Measurements using two different PSL solutions were performed at the
Palas plant for test purposes:
• PSL solution with latex particles 100 nm in size
• PSL solution with latex particles 3 µm in size
The solutions were produced with the following materials:

The PSL solution has to be mixed well before measurement. This is particu-
larly important when the solution contains large particles. If the solution is al-
lowed to rest for an extended period, unintentional sedimentation can occur.
