6.3.3

Closing filter holder

DANGER

Risk of crushing limbs when opening and closing the filter holder

When the filter is opened and closed, surfaces and edges that can cause
pinching and cutting are exposed. The two-hand control for closing the
device protects only the person pressing the buttons.

Do not reach into the working range of the filter holder when opening
and closing.

4

The device should alway be operated by only one person.

To secure the respiratory mask or a filter medium sample, the filter holder
has to be closed.

Close it by simultaneously pressing the two red buttons with the arrows
pointing down. Keep the buttons pressed until the filter holder is completely
closed.

If one or both of the buttons is/are released before the end position is
reached, the filter holder opens again.
