Operation and settings

Calibration validity

In addition to the software version, the menu

init

shows the date until

which the test rig calibration is valid. When calibration expires, the test ring
should be calibrated again by Palas specialists. Contact Palas or a sales
partner for this purpose.

If calibration is valid for less than 31 days, a window opens indicating this
when the software is opened. Close the windows by selecting

okay

.

The test rig can be operated without any restrictions even if the date has ex-
pired. But keep in mind that, as time passes, the risk of less precise results
increases.

When the self-test of the system indicates that all of the required files are
available, the menu
