Error Correction Problem Error code
Undefined error 8308 Data outside of the defined range was sent
by WRIT (the Intelligent I/O Write instruc-
tion). Correct the command or data and
send it again. This error will be
cleared when correct data is sent.
Format error 8309 A format outside of the defined range was
sent by WRIT (the Intelligent I/O Write
instruction).
Communications de-
vice error 8400 An error occurred during the processing of
data communications with the computer,
and processing was stopped. Check the cable connections and
the communications settings. Re-
send the data after correcting the
problem.
Hardware error 9000 When the PCU is powered up, initial pro-
cessing for the PCU’s built-in LSI is not
completed normally. Hardware is possibly faulty.
9100 Target position for a positioning action has
been exceeded. Hardware is possibly faulty or error
is possibly caused by noise.
EEPROM read/write
error 9200
When the data range check was performed
for EEPROM read/write processing, an er-
ror was generated because the data was
outside of the range. (The error was gener-
ated only for the X axis.) The data unit and set unit do not
match. Correct the data and
execute EEPROM WRITE. Then
execute EEPROM READ or turn on
the power again.
A verification error was generated when
data was compared during EEPROM writ-
ing. Either the hardware is faulty or the EE-
PROM life has expired. (The error was
generated only for the X axis.) Replace the Unit.
