Fax operation (Various functions)
Timer controlled communication
If a time for a communication to start is designated in advance, when the appointed time is
reached, that communication will be carried out automatically. A timer controlled
communication can be designated during the operation procedure for various types of fax
communication such as broadcast transmission, polling receiving, etc.
* The communication must be set to start within the ensuing 24 hour period.
* Up to 5 timer controlled communications can be set at one time (including standby
transmissions).
* When using the ADF transmission mode and with the documents designated to be
transmitted at an appointed time, the documents will remain on the document table until the
appointed time is reached. In this case, the timer controlled transmission can be cancelled
simply by removing the documents from the document table. The fax will then revert to the
initial mode.
* A Transmission report can be set to be printed out automatically at the completion of all
timer controlled transmissions. (Refer to “(1) Automatic print out”, page 119.)
* To cancel the procedure part way through, press the
STOP/RESET key. The fax will revert to the initial mode.
1. If the operation involves the transmission of documents,
set the documents to be transmitted on the document
table, and select the desired resolution.
