Other settings

ECM transmission ON/OFF

When attempting a fax transmission in areas with poor telephone line quality, the ECM (Error
Correction Mode) capabilities of this facsimile will verify data transfer with the other party’s fax to
eliminate possible errors. Select here whether or not to use the ECM capabilities of this facsimile.

1. Press the FUNCTION key 6 times.

2. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.

3. Press the FUNCTION key 8 times.

* To cancel the procedure part way through, press the

STOP/RESET key. The fax will revert to the initial mode.
