Configuration
The printer and the network card adapter are configured using the Con-
figuration Screens.
1.
OkiView Quick Configuration Tool
Quick Configuration is the fastest, most convenient way to bring your
network printer on line. It lets you select a printer and set it up with a
default configuration. Follow these steps:
1
From the Printer List dialog box, highlight the printer you want to
configure.
2
Click QuickCfg.
3
In the “Print Server Name” box, enter a unique name for the printer
e.g., “OP12i.” As you type, the program creates the associated
queue name in the “Print Queue Name” box.
4
If the names displayed are acceptable and the Print Server Mode
setting is correct, click the Configure button. This sets up your
network card and the selected file server.
2.
NetWare Configuration
The NetWare Configuration screen allows you to modify NetWare con-
figurations to support your printing needs. Activate this tool by clicking
the NetwareCfg. Button on the Printer List dialog box. The screen gives
