Check the status of the RIP unit

The PRISMAsync Print Server consists of a main controller, two standard RIP units and optional
two additional RIP units. The RIP units are responsible for the raster image processing. (

Check the

status of the RIP unit on page 351

)

When one or more RIP units do not communicate with the main controller, the orange RIP
symbol appears in the warning area of the dashboard.

The dashboard shows if RIP units do not communicate with the main controller.

You can hide the warning of the RIP unit that is not responding.
