Explore the CMYK editor

The job properties window provides the job options and the pixel-precise preview of the printed
document. (

Explore the pixel-precise preview on page 148

The PRISMAsync Print Server colour management ensures optimal colour reproduction on the
media you use. However, sometimes you want to edit the job CMYK values for a better result.

When you want to adjust the colours, you use the pixel-precise preview with the

CMYK editor

.

The effects of changing the CMYK values of the shown bitmaps are immediately visible.

In the pixel-precise preview, you can use several sliders. In the advanced mode you find editable
curves to lighten, darken, and shift document colours. In both modes you can also tweak the
contrast.

There are two modes to edit the job CMYK values.
1.

Basic mode

: simple CMYK editing with sliders for quick and easy colour tweaking.

2.

Advanced mode

: CMYK editing by tweaking the CMYK curves for precise and reproducible

colour adjustments.
