4.11.9 Modules
Like Detectors, new Modules will not show up within the NFN Explorer until they have been indentified by the
Explorer. This is accomplished similarly to how detectors are updated. Go to the Panel that the modules are listed
on, and expand the appropriate Loop (if applicable), then right-click on Modules to bring up the Detect Modules
option. Highlight, then left click. The Modules list will refresh to include any new Modules added since the last
detection.

Once Modules have been detected by the NFN Explorer, you can then Enable , Disable , Activate , or
Deactivate them. This is acomplished by right-clicking on the appropriate Module, and then selecting the option
required. If the Module has had changes made to it, and has not been sent out to the network, then Update will
also appear in that list. Modules will display an (I) or (O) next to each to indentify either a monitor (I) or control (O)
module .

In cases where Activate and Deactivate do not apply, the pop-up box will only
display Enable and Disable .
