Passport 7400 Hardware Installation, Maintenance, and Upgrade 5.2S1

Removing a 13” termination panel from a 3-slot Passport
switch

Remove a termination panel to replace a failed panel or if you are removing
its associated FP(s) from the shelf.

Procedure steps

Label the cables connected to the termination panel. Then, remove the
cables and coil them carefully out of the way.

Remove the screws at the ends of the termination panel that hold the
panel in position. See the figure “3-slot Passport switch termination panel
removal” (page 326).

Replace the screw that you removed in step 2.
