Installing FP cables

Install FP cables after you have installed the function processor and any
related termination panel(s).

Prerequisites

WARNING

Risk of personal injury

Connect Passport interfaces to safety extra-low voltage
(SELV) circuits only. Connections to telephone network
voltage (TNV) circuits must be through an external device
that provides current protection and isolation, such as an
approved channel service unit (CSU). All such devices
must meet the equipment safety standards of the country
of installation.

Verbinden Sie Passport-Schnittstellen nur mit SELV-
Schaltungen (Schutzkleinspannung). Verbindungen zu
TNV-Schaltungen müssen über ein externes Gerät

telecommunications systems).
