Installing 5-slot Passport switch covers

Install 5-slot Passport switch covers on the front and back of a floor-mounted
model to help keep switch components dust-free.

Prerequisites

•

You will need a kit with PEC NTEP65 which contains the front and rear
covers.

Procedure steps

Insert the mounting studs of the cover into the holes located at the bottom
of the switch. See the figures “Installing a front cover on a 5-slot Passport
switch” (page 199) and “Installing a rear co ver on a 5-slot Passport
switch” (page 200).

Press the top of the cover into place. Friction holds the cover in place.

Ensure that you have routed all cables through the openings in the bottom
of the cover.
