Qualification of personnel
The rocker circular saw may only be operated, maintained and serviced
by persons who have been familiarised with the machine and the
associated hazards by reading this manual.
People who assemble, operate, disassemble or maintain the rocker
circular saw must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or
medication which could impair their reactions.
Persons under the age of 18 must not be employed on the rocker
circular saw. However, it is permissible to allow persons over 16 years of
age to perform such work under the supervision of a qualified person
where this is required to achieve a training objective.
Persons who operate the rocker circular saw must be physically able to
insert logs into the rocker.

Follow the instructions in this manual to avoid hazards and material
damage.

Observe the relevant accident prevention regulations as well as the
other generally accepted safety, occupational health and road traffic
regulations.

Only perform servicing, set-up, maintenance and cleaning work, as
well as transport of the rocker circular saw with the drive switched
off and the tool at a standstill.
›
Make sure that the saw rotates in the correct direction.
›
Only operate the rocker circular saw with the protective equipment
fitted or intended by the manufacturer.
›
Operate the rocker circular saw with both hands.
›
Only use the rocker circular saw outdoors.
›
Keep the rocker circular saw away from children.
›
Never leave the rocker circular saw unattended when in operation.
›
Only ever saw one piece of wood at a time. Otherwise, several wood
pieces may be captured uncontrollably by the circular saw.
›
Wear a hairnet to cover long hair and do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery when working with the rocker circular saw.
