Safety instructions
Rocker circular saw 46-217 and 46-218
All live parts of the rocker circular saw are insulated against contact
or clad in securely fastened safety devices which can only be removed
with tools.

Never remove fixed, securely fastened cladding. There is a risk of
injury due to electric shock.
›
Only connect the rocker circular saw via a ground fault circuit
breaker.
Moisture can cause short circuits.
›
Keep moisture away from live parts.
›
Do
not
work in the rain and never leave the rocker circular saw out
in the rain.
Safety information before operation
›
Check the device for possible damage and begin the cutting work
when the rocker circular saw is functioning faultlessly.
›
Check whether all keys and adjustment tools, e.g. on the electrical
box, have been removed.
›
Remove all nails and metallic objects from the piece of wood to be
cut before cutting.
›
Make sure that the wood pieces contain no cables, ropes, etc.
›
Begin cutting when the saw blade has reached full speed.

Keep a sufficient distance from the saw blade.
›
Only operate the rocker circular saw with 2 hands.
›
Avoid inhaling sawdust.
›
Do not remove wood pieces when the rocker circular saw is running.

Do
not
stop the saw blades with lateral pressure.

Ensure that the cut wood pieces do
not
get caught and ejected
from the rocker circular saw.
