IP parameters (default profile) screen
If you are using RFC1483 datalink encapsulation, the IP Parameters (Default Profile) screen allows you to
configure various IP parameters for DSL connections established without an explicitly configured connection
profile:
For an DSL link, Network Address Translation (NAT) is disabled by default in the Default Profile. You can enable
it by toggling to Yes. For details on setting up IP Parameters see
“IP Setup” on page 6-2
.
Scheduled Connections
Scheduled connections are useful for PPPoE, PPTP, and ATMP connection profiles.
To go to the Scheduled Connections screen, from the WAN Configuration screen select
Advanced Connection
Options
and then select
Scheduled Connections
.
IP Parameters (Default Profile)
Address Translation Enabled: No
Filter Set (Firewall)...
Remove Filter Set
Receive RIP: Both
Transmit RIP: Off
Return/Enter accepts * Tab toggles * ESC cancels.
