Operational Testing

RVC Panel LED illumination status while “Close” button is pressed.

After ensuring that the red switch is in the automatic mode, press on the close button
located on the SEL-751, the feeder protection relay in the Interconnection box. As
soon as “Close” is pressed, the Pre-Energizing LEDs on the In-Rush Mitigation panel
shall respond immediately to the “Close” command. Therefore, the Pre-Energization
LED illuminates shows the system has entered the Pre-Energization phase.

The Closing Sequence

On the RVC Panel, the Grid Voltage has indicated a closed in status, for the transformer’s

energization. While rest of the LEDs has shown open status.
