Operational Testing

Numbered Illustration of Mode Selection Switch & Protective Relay Indicators

Initial Breaker Position

During the myPV ClearSky’s factory integration testing, the three (3) medium voltage
(MV)

MV) VFI breakers were left in the OPEN position by initiating a 3-Phase

command from the Protection Relay.

For the following Operational testing steps, please verify that the Mode Selection Switch
and Protection Relay indicate the following status:

1. Verify the Model Selection Switch is in the REPAIR SERVICE MODE position

2. Verify the Protection Relay indicates it is TRIPPED (Red Indication next to TRIP)

3. Verify the TRIP button’s BREAKER OPEN Green Indication is illuminated

4. Verify the SPD-TEST button’s DISABLED Yellow Indication is illuminated
