Using the Kaleido Remote Control Protocol

This chapter explains where to obtain information on how the Kaleido-X can execute

commands received via a Gateway, allowing third-party developers and individual users

remote access to some Kaleido functions.

Overview

The Kaleido-X system can execute commands received through a Gateway, allowing third-party
developers and individual users remote access to some Kaleido functions. For more information, refer to
the

Kaleido Remote Control Protocol (Gateway) User’s Guide

(Ref. # M770-0900-XXX).

Note:

The term “Kaleido” is used to describe features common to the Kaleido family. Features exclusive to

any one of these products are described using the full product name, e.g. Kaleido-X.
