An internal router also has a Logical router matrix ID , which can be used by external router controllers
to control the internal router cards.
Note: Signals entering the KXI cards are made available to the internal router cards via the midplane
(i.e. there is no cabling between the BNC outputs on the router card and the BNC inputs on the KXI
card).
Router Connections
To be able to control a router from the Kaleido-X monitor wall (using the Assign [router] input command),
you must define the connections between KXI inputs and external router outputs. When you right-click a
video widget, the software uses this information to determine its point of origin (which BNC connector on
which KXI card), and then what router output it is connected to. The shortcut menu on the monitor wall
will then display the list of inputs from the external router outputs. When you select one of these inputs,
