The number of instruments or PC boards that may be placed on a 
GTXI-700 depends on whether it is used as a stand-alone PC, or as 
a bus extender. Since the GTPC controller module occupies four 
slots, the GTXI-700 has room for ten instruments or PC boards in 
stand-alone mode. In bus extender mode, the far right slot must be 
reserved for the GTXI-701-PCR Receiver Board, leaving 13 slots
