To exit the control mode, press the “Lights” key to return to normal operating mode. The
highlight will disappear.
7.2 Bar Graph
The bar graph display shows a parameter on a vertical bar graph with ten segments. The numeric
value of the parameter is shown above the bar graph. A full-screen example of a bar graph display
can be seen in Figure 242 below.

7.3 Compass Rose Display
The compass rose display shows a heading, bearing, or course parameter on a compass rose
display. There are two types of compass roses, 1) “Course Up” where the needle is always pointing
straight up and the compass rose rotates to indicate the heading pointed to by the needle (Figure
243
), and 2) “North Up” where the rose always has North straight up and the needle rotates pointing
in the direction of the heading, bearing or course parameter (Figure 244).
