Installing Options
Removing a Memory Option

ARNING
:
Electronic components are easily damaged by
static electricity. Touch something metal
before you touch the memory option.

If necessary, follow the steps under “Accessing the
Printer System Board” on page 293.

Locate the memory option you want to remove.
3
Push out on the metal clips at each end of the connector
and rotate the memory option up to a 45° angle. Pull it out
of the connector.
4
Place the memory option in its original packaging.
If you
did not save the packaging, wrap it in paper and store it in
a box.

other option on the system board:
