Security Configuration
IP Address Filtering
Use this function to enhance security by allowing or forbidding
access to the NVR from specified IP addresses.
1.
Click
System > Security > IP Address Filtering.
2.
Select
Enable IP Address Filtering
, select
Blacklist
or
Whitelist
from the drop-down list, set the start and end IP
addresses, and then click
Add
.
NOTE!
If
Blacklist
is selected, the NVR denies remote access from
the IP address(es) on the list.
If
Whitelist
is selected, the NVR only allows remote access
from the IP address(es) on the list. However, if
Whitelist
is
selected with no IP address specified, remote access to the
NVR will be denied.
3.
Click
Apply
to save the settings.
ONVIF Authentication
Enable ONVIF authentication under
System > Security > ONVIF
Auth
so a username and password will be required for ONVIF-
based device access.
Select the check box and then click
Apply
.
