Before road travel, make certain that  

• 

the machine is fully and correctly hitched. 

• 

the PTO shaft is switched off and the rotors have come to a standstill. 

• 

the rotors are locked (right and left sides of the machine). 

• 

the control unit is switched off, in case of electrically adjustable rotor height. 

• 

the machine is in the transport position. 

• 

the front swath cloth is swivelled up, in case of swath cloth front design (refer to chapter 
Operation “Swivelling up Front Swath Cloth”) 

• 

all hydraulic control units are located in neutral position. 

• 

the retaining bolts are correctly engaged in the lockings (1) (right and left rotor). 

• 

the tine guards (2) are on the tines which are located below 2 m in transport position (right 
and left rotor). 

• 

the lighting system functions properly. 

• 

the lower links are set to a height of 55 cm to the ground to observe the transport height.
