5.8 Replacing the Parts on the Detach Detection Unit
5.8.1 Replacing the Detach Detection Sensor (Upper)
This section describes the instructions on how to replace the detach detection sensor (upper).

Listed below are the number of people and the rough standard of work hours required for performing the
works described in this section.
Requirements
Shown below are the tools requiring to be prepared in addition to the standard tools before performing the
works in this section.

See " Removal Procedures (Page 5-11)" in "5.2.5 Removing/Installing the Optical Unit" to
remove the optical unit.
Place the removed optical unit in a level and stable place with the light condensing unit up.

Remove the detach detection sensor (upper).
•
1 screw (M3 x 6)

Unplug the cable from the detach detection
sensor (upper).
•
Connector (JP54)

Connect the cable to the new detach detection
sensor (upper).

Install the detach detection sensor (upper).

1 screw (M3 x 6)

position.

install the optical unit.
Now, you have finished with the procedures to replace the detach detection sensor (upper).
Caution
•
Be sure to turn off the power supply circuit breaker and unplug the power cable from the
equipment whenever you disassemble/assemble the equipment.
•
Be careful when handling the optical unit not to send a shock wave to it, that is composed
of precision parts.
