Decryption in standby

The "Decryption" option is only displayed if a recording was made from an encrypted channel 
with the "Decryption: No" setting.

To decrypt the recording, press the 

 button. The symbol for an encrypted recording (key) is 

marked with a red dot. 

When you next switch the receiver to standby the recording will immediately be decrypted.

The receiver display shows the progress of the decryption. Wait until decryption is complete and 
the receiver is in standby mode to turn the receiver back on.

In the section "Mainmenu - Interface Setup" under "Common Interface", "Decrypt in 
standby" section, you can select the "On" setting. All recordings that were made with 
encryption will then automatically be decrypted in standby mode (see "17.2.2 Autom. 
decryption in standby" on page 134).
