Automatic timeshift

The UFSconnect 906 offers you a special function in this context. As soon as you switch to 
a channel, the receiver automatically starts recording the programme you are viewing to the 
connected USB storage device in the background. If you change channel again, the previously 
stored data is deleted and background recording begins again.

This continuous background recording by the receiver offers you the following options:

Rewind back to the time when you switched to that channel, and also fast forward up to the 

live signal 



►

Pause function, the picture is frozen 

 

►

You can move forwards or backwards in 30-second steps 



 buttons

If, after viewing a programme for a time, you decide you want to record it, you can do so as from 
the point you switched to that channel (see "OTR" - One Touch Recording).

5 Basic 

functions

The prerequisite for this function is that in the menu "Settings", "User-defi ned 

settings", "Recording menu" that the selection "Automatic timeshift" has been set 
to "On". See also "16.4.4 Recording menu (settings}" on page 124.
