Symbol Rate
Use the numeric keypad to enter the corresponding symbol rate.
Once you have defi ned all the settings, use the
buttons to switch to the "Start Search"
selection fi eld and confi rm the start of the search using the
button.
The following items that are shown on the screen during and in connection with the search are
identical to those of the automatic search (see "This area is the same for all types of search"
on page 100).

Service ID
Use the numeric keypad to enter the service ID of the channel to be searched for.

After calling up the menu you will see the following on-screen display:

ASTRA Channel List
Here you can select with the
buttons between the settings "On" and "Off". With the
"On" setting the receiver tells you automatically about changes to the ASTRA channel list. You
can then incorporate the changes into your channel list or simply ignore them. With the "Off"
setting you must update the channel list manually.
Channels which you have deleted from the channel list will not be added to it again
when the ASTRA channel list is updated! This only happens with the "Reset ASTRA
channel list" function.
