Editing the recording settings
6.8.1.1
Specifying a target (recording location)
As described in the "Recording archive" chapter ("7.6.3 Create new folder" on page 77), it
is possible to create folders for your recordings and to store them in these folders. If folders
have already been created for recordings, you have the option of specifying a folder as the
destination when scheduling recordings in the EPG. It makes no difference which recording
mode you choose after selecting the folder (e.g. for a series recording, all subsequent
recordings of the programme will be stored in the folder you have selected). To do this,
proceed as follows:
In the recording settings, press the
buttons to select the "Target" fi eld and then press the
button.
Recordings can also be made, for example, on an NAS system. You will fi nd more
information in the "Kathrein portal (Media centre)" guide which you can download
from the Internet at "www.kathrein.de".
The following on-screen display appears

Select the desired folder/storage location with
. Press
. Now use the
buttons to select "To ‘\xxx‘Record" and then press the
button. The receiver then returns
automatically to the recording settings.
