You can change the BFD liveness detection parameters at any time without
stopping or restarting the existing session; BFD automatically adjusts to the new
parameter value. However, no changes to BFD parameters take place until the
values resynchronize with each peer.

host1(config)# ip ospf bfd-liveness-detection minimum-interval 800

Use the no version to disable BFD on the OSPF interface.

Configuring Additional Parameters
The commands presented in this section include both OSPF-specific commands and
routing protocol–independent commands that are not limited to OSPF. You can use
these commands to perform the tasks listed in Table 11 on page 278.
Table 11: Additional Configuration Tasks
Set the maximum paths. Filter and apply policy to routes.
Enable automatic cost calculation. Set a baseline for statistics.
Enable logs for OSPF neighbor changes. Clear statistics for access lists, counters,
redistributed routes, or processes.
Set SPF hold time. Set the redistribution routes.
Set a default metric. Set the distance for OSPF routes.
Enable use of the configured bandwidth
for OSPF cost calculation. Administratively disable OSPF.
