TransformerCare Unit

Disposing of the TCU

10. Remove the filter element.

Dispose of the filter element in accordance
with the local regulations.

11. Remove the remaining oil quantity in the

filter housing (~ 500ml).

12. Disconnect the TCU from the power supply.

13. Dismantle the hydraulic connection line to

the TCU.

14. Dismantle the TCU.

Disposing of the TCU

On decommissioning and/or disposal of the TCU, observe all local directives and
requirements for occupational health and safety and protection of the environment.
This applies in particular to the oil contained in the unit, to components coated in oil
and to electronic components.

After disassembling the unit and separating the various materials, reuse them or
dispose of them properly in accordance with local regulations.
